30 Jul Recovery Run
No rushing. No reason to run fast. Time constraints? None. After my 10-miler yesterday, running this morning’s easy 3-mile Recovery Run was totally geared to putting it all back together–body and mind.
Headed out the door with my tunes (always like that for getting started early in the day). Gradually made my way to a nearby woods.
The trails felt soft underfoot; the dappled rays of sunlight shone softly on my eyes; and, the surrounding trees and greenery softened and eased residual stress.
Running at a comfortable pace through the woods this morning fits my definition for a perfect Recovery Run.
